The integration of databases between the National Genebank and the Plant Genetic Resources Conservation Working Group for vegetables and fruit trees at the Horticultural Research Center aims to establish a standardized database system. This system facilitates access to, and traceability of, plant genetic resources conserved in the National Genebank. This data integration initiative was initiated in late 2020, following meetings and agreements at the National Agriculture and Forestry Research Institute (NAFRI) to promote the linkage of conserved plant genetic resource databases across all research centers under the Institute.
