Assoc. Prof. Jaiboun Phanouxei, National Focal Point of the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (Plant Treaty), and Director General of the National Agriculture and Forestry Research Institute (NAFRI), together with officials from the Lao National Genebank, represented the Lao PDR at the meeting of the Governing Body of the International Plant Treaty, which has 151 member countries.
